Get Over Yourself.
Why go searching for someone perfect? Someone gorgeous, fine as hell, smart, not stubborn, or whatever when you’re not perfect yourself. Why try looking for someone who meets the standards you’ve created when you can’t meet them yourself? I learned to accept and to think that no one was. So who made you an exception deserving someone “perfect”? Think again, you ain’t that special.

I definitely feel more “oomph” in my life now a days. I have this freedom that I never really embraced to do whatever, whenever, however now. I’ve been single for X days and to be honest, its hit me hard. It was hard to get back out into the single world and think for only myself and do things for myself.

So today, I believed I would snag a job at Ben and Jerrys. The ad listing wanted a creative resume, so I showed up with a cute poem about ice cream thinking no one else would really apply.
